Gameweek 28 early FantasyGo Picks: Bournemouth + Luton double-ups

Best Players for Double GW28!

Double Gameweek 28 might seem like a small double, but it packs a punch!

Bournmouth have both games against Sheffield United and Luton at home, whereas Luton travel away for their games against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. Those fixtures, especially the Bournemouth ones, are mouth watering.

But let’s not forget about the other, maybe more boring, single gameweek teams when we look for the stand out picks for Double GW28.

Bournemouth:

The definite stand out pick for Double GW28 is Solanke. He is however coming off an injury that kept him out of training for the previous midweek - but after having played GW27, I believe he should be fine for the majority of minutes in GW28. Other picks are slightly tougher, as the attacking players rotate quite a bit and there have been a few injuries to the defenders. The most recent injury to Senesi has potentially ruined the popular pick’s chances of featuring in GW28. If you do fancy the fixtures from a defensive point of view though - I like the reliability of Neto, or Zabarnyi. Kerkez is a more attacking defender but might be rotated if players return from injury. In the attacking department, Semenyo is a great pick, with Kluivert being the differential punt.

Luton:

Luton have a worse double, in my opinion, than Bournemouth but I still fancy a few of their players. Doughty is probably the standout as he offers defensive and attacking threat, and therefore provides good value. With Adebayo injured, Morris is the attacking pick as he will be pushed further up the pitch and is the designated penalty taker for Luton. Barkley doesn’t provide the highest upside but is also a pick you can go for, if needed.

Single Gameweekers:

As mentioned above, we should not ignore some of the single gameweek teams with great fixtures! This week presents an interesting opportunity to avoid Liverpool vs. Manchester City, or to try and predict the big scorers. In my current team I am choosing to ignore it, and focus my attention on some other fixtures. Two other fixtures that are tough to call are Aston Villa vs. Spurs, and Chelsea vs. Newcastle. I, however, expect goals and therefore Watkins/Son, and Palmer/Isak/Gordon remain good picks.

West Ham host Burnley, and I expect Bowen and Kudus to do well in this fixture. Arsenal faces a leaky Brentford team, who have been decimated by defensive injuries - players like Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard should be great picks. Some differentials could be had from Manchester United if you expect them to bounce back against Everton even.

Overall a week that if you can predict the winners of those tough-to-call games, you could make massive gains!
